WHY IS THE CORRECT MAKE-UP SKETCH SO IMPORTANT? - FIGHT AGAINST ASYMMETRY

Every person is different and the anatomy of the face varies. For the most part, we are more or less asymmetrical, and thus permanent make-up is not always possible. Therefore, there is no universal and single template for drawing out perfectly symmetrical eyebrows. The main causes of asymmetry are, for example, trauma (fractures of the cheekbone or nose), neurological origin, genetic conditions, malocclusion and others. Our facial expression is also something individual, not dependent on us, and the muscle work on both sides of the face is different. It does not make much sense to compensate for asymmetry by force, because by straightening the eyebrows we can accentuate the asymmetry even more. Remember that asymmetry does not only apply to the eyebrows, but to the entire face. The lips can also be asymmetrical, one side longer and narrower the other more rounded and convex. The eyes may be at different levels, one eye may be more almond shaped, the other round, the nose also tends to turn to one side. So we can see that, despite our desire for perfect permanent make-up, we have to take many factors into account, sometimes they can rule out the make-up. This is why it is so important to inform the client of all aspects.

An integral part of applying permanent make-up is the pre-drawing, which is crucial and determines the success of this treatment. The tools we use are important, such as a good quality hard crayon with which we can make thin lines, a thread of dirt, an adhesive ruler and a white paste with a brush with which we cut off the drawing. This helps us to accurately visualise to the client the future appearance of the eyebrows and also to correctly define the position of the eyebrows and therefore the pigmentation.

Practice makes perfect, so the more drawings we do, the quicker we will master this difficult art and no asymmetry will scare us.

If you're still struggling with your pre-drawing, it's keeping you up at night, it's taking a long time, it's blurring during pigmentation and you're missing that precision I invite you to my eyebrow geometry training.
